Father's Day (Día del Padre)

I think it's great that we have a special day to celebrate fathers. Sometimes it's an emotional day for me though, as my father passed away when I was only eight. But I can testify that God has faithfully proved Himself as my Heavenly Father through all the years.

"A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling." (Psalm 68:5)

One year God gave me a song that expresses what His Father-love means to me. Here's the chorus of the song. I hope it will encourage you today in the love your Heavenly Father has for you.

Día del Padre

Pienso que es grandioso que tengamos un día especial para celebrarle a los padres. Sin embargo, a veces es un día emocional para mí, porque mi padre falleció cuando yo tenía apenas ocho años. Pero puedo testificar que, a través de los años, Dios ha probado fielmente que Él es mi Padre Celestial.

“Padre de huérfanos y defensor de viudas es Dios en su santa morada” (Salmo 68:5)

Hace unos años Dios me dio una canción que expresa lo que Su amor de Padre significa para mí. Aquí está el coro. Confío en que hoy te dé ánimo en el amor que tu Padre Celestial tiene para ti.
