My Jesus (Mi Jesús)

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything He might have the supremacy. -Colossians 1:15-18

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. -Hebrews 1:3

But because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.

Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. -Hebrews 7:24-26

Mi Jesús

Él es la imagen del Dios invisible,

    el primogénito de toda creación,

porque por medio de él fueron creadas todas las cosas 

   en el cielo y en la tierra, visibles e invisibles,

    sean tronos, poderes, principados o autoridades:

todo ha sido creado por medio de él y para él.

Él es anterior a todas las cosas,

    que por medio de él forman un todo coherente.

Él es la cabeza del cuerpo,

    que es la iglesia.

Él es el principio,

    el primogénito de la resurrección,

   para ser en todo el primero. 

 -Colosenses 1:15-18

El Hijo es el resplandor de la gloria de Dios, la fiel imagen de lo que él es, y el que sostiene todas las cosas con su palabra poderosa. Después de llevar a cabo la purificación de los pecados, se sentó a la *derecha de la Majestad en las alturas. -Hebreos 1:3

...pero como Jesús permanece para siempre, su sacerdocio es imperecedero. Por eso también puede salvar por completo a los que por medio de él se acercan a Dios, ya que vive siempre para interceder por ellos.

Nos convenía tener un sumo sacerdote así: santo, irreprochable, puro, apartado de los pecadores y exaltado sobre los cielos. -Hebreos 7:24-26
