Favorite Verses (Versículos Favoritos)

Has anyone ever asked you what your favorite verse is? 

I always have a hard time answering that question because I have so many "favorite" verses. =) How can you pick just one? 

Also, different verses are more meaningful to me in different seasons of my life. 

All of God's Word is living, powerful, and active in our lives. But I think there are certain verses that touch us in special ways.

Here are a few of my "favorite" verses - 

from Deuteronomy:

Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in Him, for He shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between His shoulders. -Deuteronomy 33:12

from Psalms:

Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. -Psalm 9:10

from Isaiah:

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. -Isaiah 46:$

from Jesus:

I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. -John 16:33

from Paul:

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. -Galatians 2:20

from Peter:

And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. -1 Peter 5:10

from John:

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! -1 John 3:1

Praise God for His Word!! I'm so thankful we are blessed to have it in our own language and so easily accessible. Let's not forget to pray for those Christians who don't have God's Word.

Versículos Favoritos

¿Alguna vez alguien te ha preguntado cuál es tu versículo favorito?

Yo siempre tengo dificultades para responder a esa pregunta porque tengo muchos versículos “favoritos”. =) ¿Cómo puedes escoger solamente uno?

También, diferentes versículos son más significativos en distintas etapas de mi vida.

Toda la Palabra de Dios es viva, poderosa y activa en nuestras vidas. Pero pienso que hay ciertos versículos que nos tocan en maneras especiales.

Aquí hay unos pocos de mis versículos “favoritos”

De Deuteronomio:

Que el amado del Señor repose seguro en él, porque lo protege todo el día y descansa tranquilo entre sus hombros. –Dt. 33:12

De los salmos:

En ti confían los que conocen tu nombre, porque tú, Señor, jamás abandonas a los que te buscan. –Sal. 9:10

De Isaías:

Aun en la vejez, cuando ya peinen canas, yo seré el mismo, yo los sostendré. Yo los hice, y cuidaré de ustedes; los sostendré y los libraré. –Is. 46:4

De Jesús:

Yo les he dicho estas cosas para que en mí hallen paz. En este mundo afrontarán aflicciones, pero ¡anímense! Yo he vencido al mundo. –Jn. 16:33

De Pablo:

He sido crucificado con Cristo, y ya no vivo yo sino que Cristo vive en mí. Lo que ahora vivo en el cuerpo, lo vivo por la fe en el Hijo de Dios, quien me amó y dio su vida por mí. –Gá. 2:20

De Pedro:

Y después de que ustedes hayan sufrido un poco de tiempo, Dios mismo, el Dios de toda gracia que los llamó a su gloria eterna en Cristo, los restaurará y los hará fuertes, firmes y estables. -1P 5:10

De Juan:

¡Fíjense qué gran amor nos ha dado el Padre, que se nos llame hijos de Dios! ¡Y lo somos! -1 Jn.3:1

¡Alabado sea Dios por Su Palabra! Estoy muy agradecida porque somos bendecidos al tenerla en nuestro propio idioma y tan fácilmente accesible. No olvidemos orar por aquellos cristianos que no tienen la Palabra de Dios.
